These 100% natural coco shell bowls are fashioned from organically produced coconuts in the Bến Tre region of Southern Vietnam. Grown mainly for their meat and milk, the discarded shells have traditionally been burnt once their contents have been harvested, to make way for the new crops.

Giving these shells a new life in the form of beautiful organic homeware not only prevents them being needlessly burned as waste. It also boosts the modest incomes of local farmers and artisans in rural Vietnam.

Once stripped of their husk and sanded inside and out, the bowls are polished with natural virgin coconut oil and intricately etched with this unique Cosmos pattern.

How to Care for your Wooden Bowl Set

Coco shell bowls are best suited to cold or lukewarm food, such as smoothies, salads and Buddha bowls. Hot food may cause the shell to expand and crack.

Hand wash only. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.

Polish to restore if the outside becomes dry and slightly rough. Use a damp dish cloth and gently rub with a spoonful of virgin coconut oil, linseed or flaxseed oil.
